POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man crashed his car and then died from his injuries.
Officers said the collision, which did not involve any other vehicles, happened on Shore Street, close to the towncentre of Barrow-in-Furness, at 5.10pm on Thursday May 15.
The victim was driving a Jensen Interceptor vehicle, which was a British made, hand-built classic car made between the mid-1960s and mid-1970s.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC 1567 Kevin Jackson, of the Kendal Operational Support unit for Cumbria Police.
