ULVERSTON police have asked the public for help identifying a woman in her early 20s who they allege was involved in 'at least' two shoplifting incidents last night (May 16).
The woman is described by police as having dark hair and was wearing a knee-length flowery dress and was 'clearly inebriated', said officers.
The two shopliftings occurred at the town's Bargain Booze, and the nearby Co-operative store on Market Street.
Officers said they were 'confident' that they know who she is and expect an arrest to follow shortly.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101 and ask for PC 891 Ward at Ulverston Police station.
