A SPECIAL recruitment event will take place at Kendal Town Hall on June 3 to encourage people to volunteer for local organisations and charities in South Lakeland.

Local organisations looking to recruit new volunteers which will be attending the event will include NSPCC, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Samaritans, Leonard Cheshire, Oaklea Trust, Neighbourhood Care Independence, Ability Net, South Lakeland Mind and many more.
