A DALTON hotel has been given the thumbs up by the world's largest travel website TripAdvisor.
Chequers Hotel and Restaurant was awarded a Certificate of Excellence, given to organisations that consistently come out on top in customer reviews.

Businesses that get the gold star need to maintain an overall rating of at least four out of five, volume and recent reviews.
