A FIVE-year-old boy from Castle Park School in Kendal has been presented with a new touch screen computer tablet to help him communicate both at home and school.
Kamil Kucharski, who has complex needs, has been helped by the charity School Angel, whose spokeswoman Jacqui Cottam said: “Interventions like this can make all the difference to helping a child achieve their best at school. We were delighted to be able to help Kamil from our disadvantaged children's fund.
“It was lovely to meet Kamil, who is such a happy little boy, and his mother at Castle Park to see him adapting to life in a mainstream school so well.”
School Angel is a Kendal based children's charity. Anyone can help it to raise money by simply doing their shopping online after clicking from the charity’s website at www.schoolangel.org.uk.
