TIM Farron, MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale, wants local schools to put on money lessons this June to give pupils a headstart in financial education before it becomes part of the National Curriculum in September.
The move comes ahead of this year’s My Money Week (June 9-15) co-ordinated by national financial education charity the Personal Finance Education Group).
