MICHAEL Henning, of Aynam Road, Kendal, has been given a restraining order, after assaulting his pregnant girlfriend in her home.
He was told he must not contact Jennifer Loi after South Lakeland Magistrates’ Court heard he smashed a coffee table, slapped her and pinned her to a chair at her Low Garth home, causing her bruising injuries.
Henning, who pleaded guilty to assault by beating and criminal damage, was also given 100 hours of unpaid work and was fined £260.
