PATRICK Willink, group chief technology officer and director at James Cropper, Burneside, has been named as president of the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) for two years.
"I'm honoured to take on the role,” said Mr Willink. “The CPI has a vital role to play for the paper and associated industries within the challenging environment we face. I'm looking forward to the opportunities ahead."
The CPI is the leading voice of the UK paper-related industry, defending its interests and promoting its achievements and potential. It represents 70 member companies involved in the supply chain for paper.
