The Grassometer fitted to a farmer's wellie
A HI-TECH grass monitor which can be mounted on a wellington boot is being launched in the UK by Mole Valley Farmers.
It costs £1,600, can be fitted to a wellie or pole, and has four sensors that take grass height measurements as the farmer walks across a field, from which the dry matter per hectare can be calculated.
