TELEVISION wildlife presenter Chris Packham is to return to RSPB Leighton Moss next month.
He will host special events as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations at the Silverdale reserve – and visitors are invited to join in.
Chris will lead a guided walk on the reserve on Thursday, July 3, from 2pm, to showcase the wonderful wildlife and history of the site. The cost is £25 per person.
And on the following day there will be another opportunity to join a walk with Chris from 11.30am, followed by lunch with him from 1pm to 2pm. The cost is £50 per person.
A final guided walk with Chris will be held on Friday, July 4, at 2.15pm.
Annabel Rushton, of RSPB Leighton Moss, said: “We are delighted Chris is coming here. We have been giving nature a home for 50 years and are doing lots of things throughout the year to celebrate, but this will be a highlight.”
