Air ambulance lands at Honister
A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital after suffering arm and abdomen injuries in a paragliding accident at Fleetwith Pike near Honister.
The 42-year-old, from Redcar, was treated at the scene by a Great North Air Ambulance doctor before being airlifted to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle on Saturday afternoon.
