The Ulverston Inshore Rescue Team pulled out all the stops to track down a missing woman.
They received a call from Cumbria Police at 2:15pm asking for their assistance to find a woman who was last seen in the Aldingham area.
Both hi-tech quad bikes and one boat were scrambled.
They teamed-up with the Furness Coastguard, Millam Coastguard, Barrow Lifeboat Team and Liverpool Coastguard during the search.
