Coun Sylvia Emmott
RETIRED Kendal Mayor Coun Sylvia Emmott raised £11,572.66 during her Mayoral year 2013/14 to support local charities working at the Gateway Centre in Kendal.
For more than a year Age UK South Lakeland, Alzheimer’s Society, Sight Advice South Lakes, South Lakeland Carers and South Lakeland Mind have worked together at the centre in the new Gillinggate GP practice.
Barclays Bank has also contributed £3,501 in support of their work.
