A CHARITY gig held in memory of an ‘amazing man’ raised £1,000 for Burmese orphans.
James Marshall died on Eel Crag, near Keswick, seven years ago but friends and family came together to raise money for a charity he loved.
More than 80 people attended the Shakespeare Centre, Kendal, on Friday for an evening of live music in aid of Orphan’s Hope.
Local musicians John Osborne and Abby Colombi, were joined by Richard Unwin for the event.
