A CHARITY that supports families who have lost a baby to miscarriage is in the running for a £2,000 windfall.
The Tigerlily Trust, which covers the same area as the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, is up for the public vote as part of a Big Break for Charities project – and if it wins enough votes from local people it could net yet more funding.
Founder, Val Isherwood, said: “We are a small local charity run by a group of women who have experienced baby loss. We rely solely on donations for our work.”
The Tigerlily Trust donates remembrance boxes to hospitals for bereaved parents and care packages to help grieving mothers come to terms with their loss.
To vote for the Tigerlily Trust text ‘BIG BREAK 0762’ to 78866 or visit www.tigerlilytrust.co.uk and follow the link.
The closing date is June 30.
