Cumbria CVS
GROUPS that support older people and vulnerable adults to remain independent have been invited to an event to find out more about how they can receive grants of up to £500.
Cumbria CVS can dish out the grants to small, volunteer led groups that work with adults over 65 or vulnerable adults under 65 years.
The funding is part of the Neighbourhood Care Independence (NCI) Programme and the event is on June 30, from 2pm at The Gateway Centre, Gillinggate – with refreshments and cakes provided.
