THE AIR Ambulance crew was called-in to deal with a four car pile-up in Kendal.
Two people had to be taken to hospital after the smash on A65 Burton Road at 2:30pm on Sunday, June 22.
It is not yet clear who or what was at fault for the crash which involved a Land Rover, a Mini Cooper, a Skoda and a Peugeot van.
One victim was taken to Westmorland General Hospital and the other was taken to Lancaster Royal Infirmary.
Both have non life threatening illnesses and a recovering well.
A spokesperson for the North West Air Ambulance service said: "One patient was drowsy, but she chose to put that down to having a new baby and a lack of sleep."
