A BLACKSMITH who started off in a small shop in the Lake District 20 years ago is celebrating two decades in business.
Award-wining Chris Brammall Ltd has grown from being a one-man band to having 15 staff in Ulverston – and works on commissions from across the UK.
Chris has made works including the bandstand at The Glebe in Bowness and salso tyled the jetty at Brockhole – and has now designed a series of 20th anniversary home accessories linked to peaks like Skiddaw and Scafell Pike.
Chris said: “Being passionate about my heritage and roots, I love to draw inspiration from the Lake District.”
“I can't quite believe it’s been 20 years since I started up – it really has gone so quickly.”
l His new anniversary pieces are on display at the Old Courthouse Gallery in Ambleside.
