Coniston Mountain Rescue Team find lost walkers
A rescue team found walkers who got lost in the early hours of this morning.
Three tourists were walking in Coniston when they lost their way in difficult terrain just after midnight.
They could not give accurate directions to the Coniston Mountain Rescue Team but they were tracked using IT based location techniques.
A team of 13 rescuers worked for three hours to find the group, who were finally located in Yewdale Fell before being taken to safety at 12:20am.
