£200k refurbishment for popular village pub

A FORMER 18th century coaching inn reopens its doors today (Thursday) after a £200,000 makeover.
The Highwayman in Burrow, near Kirkby Lonsdale, has been refurbished and has new head chef Jason ‘Bruno’ Birkbeck in residence. It will be open Monday to Saturday from noon to 11pm, and Sunday 12pm to 10pm.
