Ulverston centre welcomes superfast broadband
2:01pm Friday 27th June 2014 in News
THE Ulverston Business centre has just successfully introduced 100 Mbps superfast broadband to make it the fastest business centre in town.
Archie Workman, MD of the centre in New Market Street, hailed the investment as 'great news'.
Mr Workman said: “We now have over 30 people working here within 16 companies. The fact that we now have superfast was instrumental in attracting our latest inward investment from Yorkshire, Base 3 Systems, who are training graduates for blue chip companies around the UK – it is just fantastic.”
He said others can hire a meeting or training room at the centre if they wanted to work faster than their current office connection.
John Muldoon and Steve Johnstone, directors of Ulverston Business Properties and owners of the centre on New Market Street, said: “Great broadband speeds act as an economic driver for our future plans for the business centre.
"All our new office spaces are tailored specifically to attract small to medium sized enterprises or entrepreneurs who want to move from a home office to have a prestigious address in Ulverston close to the town’s amenities.
