THIEVES stole two sets of car keys during a burglary at a house on Castle Road, Kendal, on Friday night.
Two black Volkswagen Golfs were taken from the victim's driveway and both were later found crashed.
One was found on Sandylands Road - witnesses described seeing a white male in his early 20s with short dark hair and a black waterproof jacket moving towards Sedbergh Road.
The second car was found crashed on Natland Road - a further white male wearing dark clothing was seen riding a bike away from the scene.
In another incident on Castle Road on the same night, an iPod classic, a TomTom Sat Nav and a pair of trainers were stolen from an unattended vehicle.
Anyone with information about any of these incidents is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101.
