DJ set to re-open the Studio-Loft nightclub in Kendal
KENDAL nightclub Studio-Loft is set to re-open, eight months after its shock closure.
The town centre venue will be resurrected by Lakeland Radio presenter and local DJ Andrew Milliard (aka DJ Milli).
Mr Milliard made the announcement through Facebook and said he was looking to take on staff.
The opening date has yet to be announced but the news has already sparked excitement on social media.
Mr Milliard, who also runs Smokies bar and Cafe Sola in Kendal, said more details about the venue, including opening hours, would be released once licensing permission has been obtained from South Lakeland District Council.
Studio-Loft, on Kent Street, closed in November after parent company Vimac Leisure had been looking for a buyer.
It was Kendal’s only nightclub.
