A man was ordered to pay almost £200 in fines and costs for stealing three bottles of wine from Home Bargains.
Daniel Paul Woolfall, of Newbiggin near Kirkby Stephen, pleaded guilty to the theft on April 3 when he appeared at South Lakeland Magistrates’ Court.
The 39-year-old was ordered to pay £14.97 compensation to cover the cost of the wine, a £65 fine, £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
