Alison O'Neill is the guest speaker at Wainwright event in October
ALISON O’Neill, ‘The Barefoot Shepherdess,’ will deliver the 2014 Wainwright Memorial Lecture at Rheged, Penrith, on Saturday October 25, at 6pm.
She lives and works on a farm in the foothills of the Howgills, above Sedbergh, and is also a walking guide and writer.
Tickets are available direct from Rheged (01768-868000) and cost £12 each (Wainwright Society members £8).
