A NEPALESE visitor was welcomed by pupils, staff and parents to Grange-over-Sands Primary School.
Gehendra Gurung was visiting as part of a Connecting Classrooms exchange project which saw teacher Paula Whinfield visit Nepal in December.
Grange Mayor Coun Trisha Thomas attended a special welcome assembly as Gehendra presented gifts from his home village in the Annapurna mountains.
Children performed a traditional clog dance, songs from the movies and a special poem and also presented Gehendra with marigolds they had planted.
Gehendra spent a week in Grange learning about UK education practice and sharing information about Nepal with pupils.
