Cumbria Police Dogs Unit receives tapestry from sniffer dog charity

CUMBRIA Police has received a tapestry from one of the Force’s Dogs Unit’s most passionate supporters.

Maggie Gwynne created the tapestry as a gift to the Dogs Unit.  

Maggie has worked with the Constabulary for a number of years and runs the Sniffer Dogs UK and International (SDUKI) charity.

In previous years, SDUKI have donated dogs to the Force as well as providing funding for new equipment.

"Their continued support enables us to do our job in keeping communities safe from crime. The dogs that have been donated in the past have always been of a high calibre and have gone on to be wonderful Police dogs for the force.
