HERON Hill primary school is celebrating being the most successful fundraising school with Kendal-based charity School Angel.
Parents and supporters of the school have raised over £600 since last October by using the school’s online shopping page on the School Angel website.

Head teacher Peter Hicks said: “We have been able to provide several extra opportunities for children that we simply couldn’t have afforded to do ourselves which the charity has funded through its disadvantaged children’s fund.
“This is in addition to the £600 we have raised on our own shopping page which we plan to put towards new outdoor play equipment for all the children.”
