South Lakeland Magistrates' Court
A KENDAL decorator has been given a suspended 90-day prison sentence by South Lakeland magistrates for assaulting his partner at their home.
Matthew Atkinson, of Garburn Road, admitted assault by beating.
He received a 12-month supervision order, and was told to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
