FIREFIGHTERS in Ulverston tackled two grass and gorse fires in the town yesterday.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue said yesterday's incident at 10.22am involved 800 square metres of gorse.
Later yesterday at 7.40pm firefighters were called to a report of a grass fire on Chittery Lane.
Crews used beaters to put out the fires.
