POLICE are investigating the theft of an outboard motor from Coniston Boating Centre between July 1-13.
The 15hp Mercury engine was removed from the back of a boat stored at the centre - police are advising boat owners to consider removing their motors so they can store them securely.
Anyone with information about the theft should contact Cumbria Police on 101.
