TEN members of Kendal's Trefoil Guild assembled at Crooklands landing stage for an evening sail on the Lancaster Canal Trust narrowboat Waterwitch.
The weather was perfect for the trip, which followed a short lecture on how gunpowder was made and had been loaded on to barges at the nearby Wakefield's Wharf for export around the world.
