A MAJOR road in Cumbria has re-opened after a collision between a Honda CRV and an empty horse box.
Police said they were called to the eastbound carriageway of the A590 near Lindale Hill at 11.44am.
The driver of the Honda, a male from Milnthorpe, was checked at the scene by paramedics and was said to have not sustained any serious injuries.
