EDEN residents are being invited to a public meeting to review and give feedback on this year’s Appleby Horse Fair.

Cumbria County Council is holding a special meeting of the Upper Eden Neighbourhood Forum at Appleby Public Hall at 7pm on Monday (July 21).

The meeting, chaired by Appleby county councillor Martin Stephenson, will give local people the chance to discuss how the 2014 fair passed off and make suggestions for the planning process for next year’s event.

Robin Hooper, chairman of the Multi-Agency Strategic Co-ordinating Group for Appleby Horse Fair, will be addressing the meeting and answering questions.

For more information contact Cumbria County Council area engagement officer Jeff Tweddle on 01768-812660.
