CASH has been stolen after a Sedbergh house was broken into.

Cumbria Police said offenders forced entry into the property on Cowgill on Wednesday (July 16) before stealing about £80.

It is believed the home was burgled between 6.30am and 5.45pm.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious people or vehicles leading up to or on the day.

Anyone with information is asked to call non-emergency 101 and ask for PC Finch or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
