A PENSIONER cut and bruised her head after falling from a Lake District fell.
The 65-year-old woman fell from Loughrigg Brow, Ambleside, yesterday (July 17).
She was attended by members of Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team at 7.16pm who assisted her to Ambleside ambulance station where she was treated by paramedics.
The team had also assisted the North West Ambulance Service in a two-hour 12-man rescue of a 60-year-old man who had collapsed on a track at Tongue Ghyll near Grasmere at 3.44pm.
