WEATHER: Cumbria dodges worst but thunderstorms still possible
DESPITE a fair amount of rain today (July 19) the county is still expected to see thunderstorms, say the Met Office.
Areas of rain are continuing to push northwards so there is still the possibility of thunder and torrential down pours.
The Met Office said these could last into the evening but should quieten down by around midnight.
Sunday is looking quiet for the area with sunny spells and some showers expected.
