A 24-YEAR-OLD Eden farmworker was airlifted to hospital this morning after suffering a serious arm injury.

Paramedics and a doctor from the Great North Air Ambulacne treated the man at the scene in Cliburn near Penrith before he was transferred to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

His condition was later said to be stable.
