SOUTH Lakes singer songwriter Imogen Rae has launched a crowd-funding campaign to help fund her second album.
Student Imogen has been given the opportunity to record ‘Queen of Hearts’ with Andy Ross - Mercury Award nominated, UK’s 'Producer of the Year' 2013 in ASTAR Studios in Manchester.
Andy has waived the £15,000 producer fee in a bid to help promote young talent but Imogen still needs funds for studio hire.
She has launched a Kickstarter campaign, where people pledge money in return for rewards such as the finished album, and has until Wednesday to raise the total of £11,750.
MORE TOP STORIES:
Imogen said: “I’ve currently raised more than £4,400 and have 126 backers but need considerably more if I want to get this project off the ground.
“The whole point of Kickstarter is that it's not just people giving money- they are 'pledging' and indeed everyone gets a deal out of it.
“For example a signed copy of the album currently is £7 and after the project is complete, it will cost £10-15.”
