Sizergh Castle
VISITORS will be encouraged to travel back in time to recreate the turbulence of the English Civil wars at Sizergh Castle over the weekend of August 16 to 18.
There will be battle re-enactments, musket shot and cannon fire will shake the walls of the house and boom across the 1,600-acre estate.
Drills and weaponry displays alongside a living history camp will offer a glimpse of what life was like during 17th century wars.
