A PAIR of road bikes have been stolen from a lane adjacent to the lower South Lakeland District Council car park.

Police are appealing for information about the theft which occurred sometime during the afternoon of July 15, from a site accessed from Lowther Street, in the centre of the town.

They say the first bike was a man's yellow Carera road bike and the second a ladies' white and pink Boardman Fi road bike.

Anyone with information should contact Cumbria police on 101.
