Emergency services at the scene of the incident
A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car.
At 8:12am today (Tuesday) a female cyclist, 42, from Kendal, collided with a Ford Focus Zetec at the busy Plumgarth roundabout near the A591.
Ambulance crews arrived at the scene and took the cyclist to Royal Lancaster Infirmary where she is being treated for injuries to her shoulder.
She is believed to be in a stable condition.
The accident caused minor delays but it is believed traffic is now flowing freely.
