MORE riders are wanted to join a charity bike ride bid-ding to raise money for a village hall roof.
Urswick Recreation Hall is in desperate need of new slates and fund-raisers have already made huge strides towards the £16,000 needed.
Riders will set off from the General Burgoyne pub and tour the area before returning there for a barbecue at the end.
The 10-mile tour from 2pm to 8pm on Saturday, August 23, will include the nearby Derby Arms, The Wellington Inn at Loppergarth, the Lancastrian at Croftlands, Lindal Bowling Club, the Wellington at Loppergarth and the Stagger Inn at Stainton.
Entrance to the family-friendly ride is £8-per-adult and £4-per-child, with every penny going to the charity.
