ALMOST £2,000 worth of riding equipment was stolen during a burglary from a tack stable at Hale, near Milnthorpe.
The theft occurred between 8.15pm on August 13 and 8.15am on August 14.
The stable is adjacent to the A6 and thieves entered a secure area by forcing a padlock.
Items stolen included five saddles worth between £250 and £500, bridles and reins.

The total value of the stolen items was around £1,950.
Anyone who was in the area or driving along the A6 at that time who may have information is asked to contact DC Jack Montague of Cumbria Police on 101.
