Overturned caravan closes two lanes on M6
TWO lanes are closed and traffic is slow on the M6 after a caravan overturned onto the central reservation this morning.
The disruption is between J39 B6261 (Shap) and J40 A66 (Penrith) northbound.
The Land Rover Discovery towing the caravan did not overturn but the driver - a 55-year-old man from Oxfordshire - was taken to Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle.
He is not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
