POLICE are investigating the theft of more than 100 sheep from a fell above Troutbeck, Windermere.
The farmer believes that his animals have been taken in small numbers on a frequent basis over seven months.
In total 67 Herdwick ewes and 60 Charolais cross lambs have been taken.
