A MAN was left with a fractured nose and broken teeth after an 'unprovoked' assault on the promenade at Bowness.
The victim, a 33-year-old man from Hest Bank, was walking with a friend when he was approached by an unknown male.
The offender removed his shirt and punched the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground.
The assault occurred at around 3.30am on August 17.

The offender was believed to be with two or three other men at the time.
