TALENTED South Lakes teenagers Joe Thomas and Evie Hill will be among a mix of performers taking part in an spectacular in Kendal later this month.

They take their show Fishing for Stories with Albert Ross to Abbot Hall Park as part of the three-day Mintfest extravaganza, running from August 29-31.

Mintfest will see Kendal’s parks and public spaces come alive with artists, dancers and performers from the UK, Europe and beyond.

Joe and Evie’s theatre company NotOnly4Boys (NO4B) have already performed at Selside School, where Joe was a pupil.

There will be a number of performances at Abbot Hall Park with Joe and Evie playing a variety of characters as old seabird Albert Ross tells stories from his life on the Seven Seas.

The shows will also feature NO4B regulars Jordan Halliwell and Laurie Hurley.
