“If you know somebody who really is an inspiration to others and who always has time for those needing help, please do not let her go unnoticed,” said chairwoman Tess Hart.
“Our award has gone to women from all walks of life in the past and women of all ages, so the person you know could well be the one we are looking for in our 25th anniversary year.”
People are asked to put forward women who may be influential in work or in the community, high achievers or are committed volunteers or carers.
The closing date for nominations is September 19 and for more information call 01228 573244 or visit www.cumbria womenoftheyear.co.uk/nominate.htm
