A YOUNG visitor to a Cumbrian festival ended up opening a savings account at Ulverston’s Furness Building Society branch after winning a £50 cash prize.
Faith Parkinson, 11, from Hawkshaw near Bury, claimed the prize after entering the Find Furry Ness competition at this year's Holker Garden Festival.
The fun competition to promote Young Saver accounts and Junior ISAs challenged children to spot the Furness Building Society mascot at various locations around the Holker show, and then return the entry form to go into a free draw.
Faith collected her prize by opening a Young Saver’s account with Rebecca Fisher, a team leader at Furness BS. The youngster was also presented with her own Furry Ness.
